Leicester City is close to finalizing a deal to sign Stefano Sensi from Inter Milan, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. Reports on Wednesday indicated that Sensi was starting to warm up to the idea of a move to the Championship, especially given Leicester’s position in the table. It seems a return to the Premier League is imminent for Leicester, as Gazzetta now reports that Sensi has agreed to the move to England. The deal to secure Sensi’s services in January is reportedly set at €2m, a bargain made possible by Sensi’s expiring contract with Inter. Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca is already considering how Sensi will fit into his squad for next season’s Premier League campaign if Leicester continues its good form and earns promotion. It’s a win-win situation for both Sensi and Leicester, with the player eager to get back on the pitch after a lack of playing time this season.
