ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, WHAT A MESS, HE COST US THE GAME: Postecoglou must axe Nottingham Forest summer signing immediately if he wants to turn things around

Postecoglou may need to shake things up at Nottingham Forest by considering dropping Oleksandr Zinchenko, the former Arsenal defender, following his lackluster performance in the Europa League match against Real Betis.

Since taking over as manager a few weeks into the Premier League season, Postecoglou has been experimenting to find the best starting lineup for The Tricky Trees. Despite a busy summer transfer window that brought in new talent like Igor Jesus and Douglas Luiz, Forest has struggled to secure wins, often conceding late goals to lose points.

Zinchenko, in particular, had a difficult game against Betis, with Antony from Manchester United causing him constant trouble. Zinchenko’s mistakes led to both Betis goals, showcasing his struggles in defense.

With the option of Nicolo Savona on the bench and Nico Williams capable of switching to left-back, Postecoglou has the opportunity to make changes at full-back to improve Forest’s performance. It may be time to consider benching Zinchenko in favor of a different option to strengthen the team’s defensive line.
