ANGE POSTECOGLOU FURIOUS: Newcastle make move to hijack Tottenham’s transfer target

Newcastle United has expressed interest in Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke, according to reports from The Telegraph. The 26-year-old has been in great form this season, currently tied for third in the Premier League Golden Boot race with Tottenham’s Son Heung-min.

The Sun recently reported that Solanke’s performances have caught the eye of Tottenham, with the club planning a move for the striker next summer. However, Newcastle is now attempting to disrupt these plans by making a move for Solanke during the current transfer window.

Bournemouth has made it clear that they are not willing to part with their star striker at this time, despite Newcastle’s interest. Manager Eddie Howe denied the reports of Newcastle’s inquiry, stating that they cannot sign a player of Solanke’s caliber.

It appears that Solanke, along with other sought-after strikers, will remain at their current clubs for now, with a potential move in the next transfer window. This works well for Tottenham, as they are likely to wait until then to make a move for a new centre-forward.
