Despite already having midfield options like Anton Stach, Ethan Ampadu, and Ilia Gruev in similar roles, Leeds’ interest in Sissokho suggests a desire to bolster their squad depth and potentially add a player who can contribute effectively in a defensive midfield role, providing additional support to Farke’s defensive setup.
