BLASTING RESPONSE: Roy Keane slams ‘idiots’ at Forest, ‘no class’ Evangelos Marinakis as he points finger at ‘quiet’ star

Roy Keane has unleashed a scathing attack on Nottingham Forest and owner Evangelos Marinakis following the departure of Ange Postecoglou. Forest has struggled at the start of the season, finding themselves in the Premier League relegation zone and on their third permanent manager after appointing Sean Dyche to replace Postecoglou.

Keane criticized the players at Forest, referring to them as “idiots” for their nonchalant reaction to yet another managerial change. He particularly called out England international Morgan Gibbs-White for remaining silent and not addressing the fans after the Chelsea match.

The former Manchester United captain didn’t hold back in his assessment of Marinakis, accusing him of lacking class in the way he handles managerial changes at the club. Keane highlighted instances where the owner interfered in on-field matters and criticized his attitude towards managers who face challenging spells.

In Keane’s eyes, Forest’s current struggles are a reflection of a lack of professionalism and respect within the club, with players and ownership both coming under fire for their conduct. The former player emphasized the importance of handling managerial changes with dignity and class, qualities he believes are sorely lacking at Nottingham Forest under Marinakis’ leadership.
