Casemiro found the back of the net from a corner that was given despite Nicolò Savona seemingly keeping the ball in play. This incident marked the second consecutive week where Dyche was dissatisfied with officiating decisions, with a similar incident occurring in their previous match against Bournemouth.
In a press conference, Dyche voiced his concerns, stating, “Two weeks in a row, which is strange in itself. Both situations were similar yet different. The previous mistake at Bournemouth, in which I was booked for protesting, was an obvious error. Being booked for questioning a proven mistake is truly baffling.”
