Celtic captain Callum McGregor is reportedly on the verge of returning to the starting lineup for the upcoming fixture against Dundee United. The 32-year-old midfielder has been sidelined recently due to a calf strain, missing the high-stakes Scottish Cup victory at Ibrox and the subsequent league win over Motherwell.
According to the Scottish Sun, McGregor’s recovery is progressing ahead of schedule. His absence from the “Glasgow Derby” was a rare sight for Hoops fans, as the veteran has been the squad’s most consistent mainstay for nearly a decade.
