West Ham to battle Fulham and Wolves over £50m incredible player: deal is in progress

Fulham, along with Wolves and West Ham, are keeping a close eye on Armando Broja’s situation as Chelsea reportedly value him at nearly £50 million. In December, Mail Sport reported Fulham’s initial approach for Broja, but other clubs are still in the mix. Initially, it was thought that Chelsea would only consider letting Broja leave if they acquired a new forward, but that stance may be shifting if a club comes close to meeting their asking price.

The high price tag could pose a challenge for potential suitors. Broja has made 17 appearances for Chelsea this season, scoring two goals. Although he has been primarily used as a substitute behind main striker Nicolas Jackson, his position could be further threatened if Chelsea brings in a new forward in the current transfer window.

Previously, Broja made a strong impression while on loan at Southampton, scoring nine goals in 38 matches during the 2021-2022 season. After his goal against Preston, manager Pochettino spoke highly of Broja’s potential but stressed the need for improvement in various aspects of his game, including body language and positivity. Pochettino also emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive attitude and a happy disposition, acknowledging the challenges Broja has faced after recovering from injury.
