The Dutch winger has emerged as a crucial figure in recent weeks, helping the Hammers rediscover form at a time when every point is vital. This balance has made West Ham more difficult to break down and more dangerous going forward—an essential combination for any team battling relegation. Nolan himself highlighted the recruitment team’s efforts, suggesting that the club’s winter business has contributed to the renewed sense of belief around the team.
However, despite the recent optimism, the reality of West Ham’s situation remains unchanged. They are still in the relegation zone, and with just seven games left, there is little margin for error. Momentum in football can be fragile, particularly in a relegation scrap where pressure can quickly derail progress.
West Ham cannot afford complacency. Their recent results may have reignited hope, but survival will not be secured on potential alone. Every match from this point forward carries enormous significance, and the team must show consistency, resilience, and composure under pressure.
There is also the psychological aspect to consider. Relegation battles often come down to mentality as much as quality. Teams that can handle the tension, stay focused, and deliver in key moments are the ones that survive.
