West Ham open talks for £150k-p/w “beast” who’d thrive with Smith Rowe

West Ham United have continued their impressive form this season and currently sit in sixth place in the Premier League after 20 matches, ahead of teams like Manchester United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, and Newcastle United.

Despite some criticism of manager David Moyes’ cautious tactics, there is undeniable success under his leadership in east London.

Looking to strengthen the squad at the halfway point of the season, West Ham is targeting loan deals for two Premier League players. Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe and Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips are reportedly on their radar.

While Arsenal is hesitant to let go of Smith Rowe, Phillips is seeking an exit from Manchester City and could be a valuable addition to West Ham. Talks for a loan deal have already been held, with City reportedly demanding a £6m fee.

Phillips, a talented midfielder with experience in the top-flight, has struggled for playing time at City. However, he possesses top-level passing and defensive abilities that could complement Smith Rowe’s creative energy and offensive prowess.

Smith Rowe, despite limited playing time, has proven himself as a valuable asset for Arsenal. With Phillips providing a strong central presence, the duo could provide the balance and skill necessary to boost West Ham’s performance in the upcoming months.
