Rangers Face Injury Concerns Ahead of Crucial Falkirk Clash

Danny Röhl has issued a concerning injury update ahead of Rangers’ upcoming trip to Falkirk, casting doubt over the availability of key players during a pivotal stage of the season.

Speaking to the media, Röhl confirmed that forward Ryan Naderi is dealing with a potentially season-ending issue. The German coach admitted uncertainty over the timeline of the injury, emphasizing that the club will continue to monitor the situation week by week.

“Ryan Naderi has a serious injury… we don’t know if he will be back before the end of the season,” Röhl stated.

Naderi’s absence could prove significant, given his positive impact since joining the squad. However, Röhl expressed confidence in the depth of his team, insisting there are capable replacements ready to step in.

Rommens Also Set to Miss Out

Defensive option Tuur Rommens is another concern. While not as severe as Naderi’s situation, the Belgian is not expected to feature this weekend. Röhl remains hopeful he could return early in the post-split fixtures, depending on recovery progress.

Title Race Intensifies

Despite these setbacks, Rangers remain firmly in contention for the Scottish Premiership title. They currently sit just one point behind Heart of Midlothian and narrowly ahead of rivals Celtic in what has been a fiercely competitive campaign.

Rangers’ recent exit from the Scottish Cup—ironically at the hands of Celtic—has provided an unexpected advantage: a two-week window to regroup. Röhl revealed that the squad will travel to Spain for a focused training camp, aiming to sharpen performance levels ahead of the decisive final stretch.

“Five Finals” Mentality

Röhl closed his press conference with a clear message of intent, rallying his squad for what he described as “five finals” remaining this season.

“We have the mentality and the belief to finish the season well and on top.”

With high stakes, mounting pressure, and injury concerns looming, Rangers’ clash with Falkirk this weekend could be a defining moment in their title pursuit.
