Saudi club set to hijack 27-year-old Tottenham’s ace

As the January transfer window draws to a close, there is still a chance for deals to be made, and former Tottenham Hotspur flop Tanguy Ndombele could find a new start elsewhere.

With the squad for Spurs largely settled, including recent additions Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin, it seems Ndombele does not have a future at White Hart Lane. Currently on loan at Galatasaray, Ndombele has struggled for game time, leading to speculation about his next move.

There are rumors that Saudi Pro League side, Al Ettifaq, are interested in securing Ndombele’s services, particularly as they seek to replace departed Jordan Henderson. However, Rennes may also enter the race for Ndombele if they are in need of a replacement for Nemanja Matic, and returning to France could be his preferred option.
