Watford suffer fresh injury concern to key player ahead of Leicester City visit

Watford’s Daniel Bachmann suffered a concussion and had to be substituted in their FA Cup replay against Southampton, raising concerns about his availability for Leicester City’s upcoming visit. Bachmann attempted to continue playing after the head injury in the first half, but ultimately had to be replaced in the second half as Southampton secured a 3-0 victory.

The Hornets will have to wait and see if Bachmann will be fit to face Leicester City this weekend, with experienced goalkeeper Ben Hamer standing in for him during Tuesday’s match. Manager Valerien Ismael is uncertain of the severity of Bachmann’s concussion and whether he will be ready to play on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Ismael is optimistic about the return of striker Emmanuel Dennis, who recently rejoined Watford on loan. Dennis will need more training before being ready to start, but Ismael is hopeful that he will be able to contribute in the coming games after regaining his form.
