Reported by The42, several Eredivisie clubs are showing interest in Tottenham striker Troy Parrott following his successful performances for Excelsior Rotterdam. Despite struggling to make an impact during previous loan spells in the Championship and League One, Parrott has shown significant improvement since moving to the Netherlands last summer.
After waiting for an opportunity to break into Excelsior’s starting lineup, the 22-year-old has shone with seven goals and three assists in 17 Eredivisie appearances. According to Transfermarkt, Dutch giants Ajax and PSV Eindhoven, as well as Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar, are considering a summer move for the Republic of Ireland international.
It remains unclear whether Tottenham would be open to selling Parrott and what his price tag might be. Despite the interest from Eredivisie clubs, Parrott has stated his desire to succeed at Tottenham. With a new manager at the helm, he will likely have the chance to prove himself in the preseason before any decisions are made about his future.
