Reportedly, a number of clubs are keeping a close eye on Udinese defender Festy Ebosele, including Leeds United and Tottenham. According to HITC, Everton, West Ham United, and Southampton have also been scouting Ebosele this season, with Watford showing interest as well.
Ebosele, who can play as a right-back or right wing-back, has become a regular in Udinese’s starting lineup, making 19 starts and five substitute appearances this season. The 21-year-old joined Udinese from Derby County in the summer of 2022, with former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney praising his potential.
Rooney, who coached Ebosele at Derby County, expressed belief in the young player’s abilities, stating that he has the potential to become a superstar if he maintains focus and continues to develop. With United manager Daniel Farke recently bringing in Connor Roberts as a right-back option, it remains to be seen whether Ebosele will make a move to a new club in the upcoming transfer window.
