Richard Keys set a trap for Andy Gray when he defended Everton after their 1-1 draw at Brighton. Even though Everton’s goal was direct, Branthwaite’s finish was fantastic. This goal seemed to be a turning point for Everton, especially when Billy Gilmour was sent off not long after. But, after a 94th-minute goal from Lewis Dunk, Everton could not hang on for the win. Gray emphasized that there is no right or wrong way to score a goal, regardless of the style. Everton has scored all types of goals this season, but they all count the same. The positive is that Everton scored away from home, but the negative is that they could not secure the win.
