CONTROVERSIAL REVELATION: Four players lined up for Everton’s transfer choice – Suggestion Dyche can take his pick

According to a recent report from Sport, Barcelona’s sporting director Deco has Amadou Onana at the top of his wishlist. However, the La Liga side is facing financial constraints that make Everton’s €60m asking price for the player out of reach.

In a follow-up report on Friday, Sport details Barcelona’s plan to pursue the Everton star in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Merseyside club is said to be aware of Barcelona’s interest in the Belgian midfielder.

With Everton currently sitting in 16th place in the table, Sport speculates that if they were to be relegated, Onana’s price could drop to €40m, which would still be a significant amount for Barcelona to afford.

In an effort to make the deal more feasible, Barcelona is exploring the possibility of including one of their own players in the transfer. Potential players mentioned include Fermín López, Clément Lenglet, Sergiño Dest, and Ansu Fati, although it is uncertain if any of these options would interest Everton.

Lenglet, currently on loan at Aston Villa, could be a potential target for Everton if they decide to sell Jarrad Branthwaite, although it is unclear if the Frenchman would be open to a move to Everton.

Meanwhile, Dest and Fati are currently on loan at PSV Eindhoven and Brighton & Hove Albion respectively. These players have attracted interest from other clubs, with Fati needing to find a new club in the summer.

It appears that Barcelona is looking to include one of their players in the deal with Everton for Onana, rather than there being genuine interest from Everton in any of the mentioned Barcelona players.
