OVER £50M KEY DEAL SET TO BE CONCLUDED as club is eager to seal deal with Tottenham Immediately

Tottenham Hotspur have been informed that they will need to spend over £50m to secure the signature of Nottingham Forest standout Morgan Gibbs-White this summer. Since joining the City Ground from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2022, the 24-year-old has become a key player for the Reds.

Impressed by Gibbs-White’s recent performances in the Premier League, Spurs have shown interest in signing him. According to reports from Football Insider, Tottenham are leading the race to sign the midfielder and have already begun preparations to make a move for him.

Nottingham Forest, who have been hit with a four-point deduction for breaching the Premier League’s financial rules, may be forced to sell some of their top players to balance the books. Gibbs-White is considered one of their most valuable assets, making him a potential target for clubs like Spurs and Newcastle United.

In an interview on Football Insider’s Inside Track Podcast, journalist Peter O’Rourke revealed that Forest are looking to command a fee higher than the £50m they received for Brennan Johnson last summer. Newcastle United’s interest in Gibbs-White could pose a challenge for Tottenham in securing a deal for the talented midfielder.

Despite the competition, Gibbs-White’s potential and quality make him a valuable target for Tottenham as they look to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new season. It remains to be seen if Spurs can successfully complete a deal for the Englishman and add him to their squad.
