BOMBSHELL: Ashley Young, the malicious Everton penalty villain, openly mocks Nottingham Forest’s absolute fury over refereeing decisions by shamelessly dropping a sassy Justin Timberlake reference.

Ashley Young trolled Nottingham Forest by sharing a picture of a classic Justin Timberlake record, essentially telling the team to ‘Cry Me a River’ over their denied penalty appeals in Everton’s crucial win on Sunday. Forest felt they were wronged by three incidents involving Young during the match, but their calls for penalties fell on deaf ears. The result saw Everton move four points clear of relegation, leaving Forest clinging to safety by just one point.

After the game, Forest questioned the integrity of VAR Stuart Attwell, claiming his apparent support for relegation rivals Luton may have influenced his decisions. However, it was revealed that Forest never formally requested Attwell be replaced before kickoff. The club later demanded the release of audio recordings from the match to prove their case for the penalties they believed they deserved.

Despite the controversy, Everton are now in control of their survival fate with upcoming matches against Liverpool, Brentford, and Luton. Forest, on the other hand, face tough challenges against Manchester City and Chelsea with a visit to Sheffield United in between, making their position in the league much more precarious.
