Injury Update on three Leicester City Players ahead of clash against Middlesbrough

Leicester City is gearing up to face Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium this weekend, and the squad is hoping to welcome Tom Cannon for his debut appearance with the club. After being sidelined due to a back injury discovered during his summer transfer, Cannon has been training with the team at Seagrave and is expected to be fully ready after another week of preparation.

Although manager Enzo Maresca has stated that Cannon is fit and eager to join the action, he plans to proceed cautiously and it is unlikely that Cannon will start the game against Middlesbrough. Additionally, the team will be without the likes of Wilfred Ndidi, Dennis Praet, Callum Doyle, and potentially Yunus Akgun due to injury.

On the other hand, Leicester City will have four players on the brink of suspension as they head into the match against Middlesbrough. Harry Winks and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have been on the cusp of a one-game ban with four yellow cards for some time, and both Ricardo Pereira and Abdul Fatawu are one booking away from facing a suspension after receiving yellows in their previous match against QPR.
