PERMANENT DEAL: Tottenham Hotspur Bombarded with Offers for Former Leeds United Loanee as Fabrizio Romano Drops Major Update

After unsuccessful stints at Tottenham, Spence tried his luck with Leeds on loan in August. His arrival in West Yorkshire brought excitement, given his past success in the Championship. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned for the 23-year-old at Elland Road. An early injury hindered his chances of securing a spot in the team, and Archie Gray kept him out even when he was fit.

In January, his loan was cut short, and Daniel Farke was content to part ways with the defender. Spence then headed to Genoa where he made 16 appearances to finish the season. Reports suggest that Genoa has shown interest in a permanent deal and negotiations are underway with Tottenham. However, the final decision may come down to the asking price.

Spence will be looking to revive his career in Serie A after a challenging period. Starting with Middlesbrough, he rose to prominence during a successful loan at Nottingham Forest, eventually earning a move to Tottenham. With just six appearances for Spurs, he may be seeking a fresh start with Genoa.
