Aston Villa ready €18 million offer for Real Madrid player

Real Madrid’s season is off to a shaky start, raising doubts about the future of certain players. While the team lacks depth in many areas, their midfield department stands strong, with the emergence of Jude Bellingham as a superstar and the impressive performances of Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Fede Valverde.

Surprisingly, prominent figures like Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are struggling to secure a spot in the starting lineup consistently. This situation raises concerns about the playing time Dani Ceballos will have moving forward.

Despite Ceballos recently signing a contract extension with Real Madrid, it is unlikely that he will receive regular opportunities in the midfield. Consequently, there has been significant interest in acquiring his services, especially from the Premier League. Aston Villa, as reported by XCatalunya, is rumored to be preparing an offer of up to €18 million for the Spanish midfielder.

Currently, Ceballos serves as a backup option at best for Real Madrid, facing recent fitness issues that have further limited his playing time. According to Transfermarkt stats, he has only made two appearances this season, playing a total of 49 minutes.

Considering these circumstances, it’s understandable why Ceballos is being linked with a move away from the club, despite signing a new four-year deal just three months ago. Aston Villa, under the guidance of Unai Emery, have shown remarkable performances, making them a suitable destination for Ceballos, who already has Premier League experience from his time with Arsenal.
