However, it is important to take into account that Moyes has had a long career as a manager, having been in the game for quite some time. When compared with Roy Hodgson, who, at 76 years old, is the longest-serving manager, or the Crystal Palace boss, who has accumulated 177 losses during his Premier League tenure while managing Fulham, West Brom, and Liverpool, Moyes’ loss record is not entirely unique.
Despite Moyes managing a noteworthy 682 Premier League matches, his win ratio stands at 38.9 percent, which is similar to that of Harry Redknapp. Redknapp has a win rate of 36.8 percent and is the manager whom Moyes overtakes as the top “loser” in the Premier League. It is clear that Moyes, Hodgson, and other seasoned managers have faced their fair share of setbacks in their careers.
