During Sunday’s Scottish Premiership match against Kilmarnock, Rangers’ passionate fan group, the Union Bears, made a bold statement by unveiling ‘stolen’ banners previously belonging to Celtic’s Green Brigade. With a clear message of “Glasgow is Blue”, the Bears mocked Gers’ manager Philippe Clement for considering his team the ‘moral champions’ of the last Old Firm derby, labeling the Ibrox club as ‘serial losers’.
Taking their rivalry to new heights, the Union Bears rearranged the captured banners to read ‘Green Brigade. Serial losers of banners’, adding another banner rotated upside down for emphasis. The bold move was captured in an image posted by ultras page X, stirring up excitement for the upcoming derby.
Not stopping there, the Union Bears also directed their display towards the Scottish Government, expressing their discontent with various ministers in a series of banners. The unequivocal message read: “Minister for Transport – s, Minister for Culture – s, Justice Secretary – s, Health Secretary – s, First Minister – s*. F the SNP.”. This passionate demonstration showcased the unwavering support and fierce rivalry within the Rangers ultras community.
