The PFA Scotland Premiership Team of the Year for the 2025/26 season has been officially announced, with players across the league voting for their standout performers of the campaign.
The selection highlights a season of shifting power across Scottish football, with Motherwell emerging as the biggest winners in terms of representation, while Hearts also enjoy a strong showing. In contrast, Celtic and Rangers each have just one player included in the XI.
Motherwell lead the way after standout season
Motherwell’s strong campaign is reflected in the selections, with five players making the final team. Goalkeeper Calum Ward is chosen between the posts, while Paul McGinn features in defence.
In midfield, Elliot Watt and Elijah Just both earn recognition for their consistent influence, and Tawanda Maswanhise completes the club’s impressive representation in attack.
