Former Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has raised concerns about the pressure surrounding Eddie Howe at St James’ Park, suggesting that the current media climate and fan sentiment in the North East could significantly influence the club’s direction if results do not improve.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Pardew reflected on the difficult environment Howe is operating in as Newcastle United struggle through a turbulent Premier League campaign. With just four matches remaining, the Magpies find themselves in an unexpected battle to secure a respectable finish, a sharp contrast to pre-season expectations of pushing for European qualification.
