Marcus Rashford has made a definitive decision regarding his long-term future, dealing a major transfer blow to Unai Emery and Aston Villa.
According to reports from Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo and TEAMtalk, the Manchester United-owned winger has zero desire to return to the Premier League this summer, instructing his representatives that his sole priority is securing a permanent stay at FC Barcelona.
The 28-year-old’s stance has set up a fascinating three-way negotiation block between the Catalan giants, a desperate Aston Villa, and a rigid Manchester United hierarchy.
The Emery Rekindling and the Villa Factor
Marcus Rashford is a popular figure at Villa Park.
