Espi missed Levante’s recent pre-season friendly, with fellow journalist Matteo Moretto reporting that the 21-year-old is heavily linked with a move to the Premier League. The young Spanish striker, who netted 13 goals last season, carries a release clause set at £21 million.
Why Strengthening the Attack Matters
Entering the upcoming campaign with a core rotation of Joel Piroe, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Lukas Nmecha leaves little room for error. Scoring efficiency was a persistent issue in tight matches last season, resulting in numerous frustrating goalless draws in the league.
