According to former Premier League scout Mick Brown, the ideal solution is already domestic: Burnley forward Zian Flemming.

Hunting for a striker in a crowded market is no easy task, but Flemming represents a rare breed of value and proven top-flight capability. Despite playing for a Burnley side that ultimately suffered relegation last season, the Dutchman managed a hugely impressive 11 Premier League goals.
Speaking to Football Insider, Brown highlighted why the 27-year-old attacker fits the exact profile Daniel Farke needs:
“…they have to be smart in the market as well, not every signing can be a superstar player, sometimes somebody will become available and that will be seen as an opportunity. I think Zian Flemming is one of those types of players, it would be a smart signing for Leeds because it looks likely that he will leave Burnley.”
Solving the Elland Road Firepower Puzzle
The drop-off in attacking depth has been a glaring issue for Leeds. While Dominic Calvert-Lewin carries weight and players like Lukas Nmecha offer occasional flashes, uncertainty surrounding Joel Piroe’s future means the club is desperately thin on reliable, clinical goalscorers.
Flemming brings a robust physical profile coupled with a proven track record. Before his exploits in the top flight, he terrorized Championship defenses, netting 34 goals across three seasons split between Millwall and Burnley. Crucially, because Burnley initially secured his services for a modest fee around £7 million, the Clarets could be persuaded to part ways for a reasonable price.
A Budget-Friendly Power Move
Securing Flemming at a sensible price point would allow the 49ers ownership group and manager Daniel Farke to redirect precious funds toward strengthening other critical areas of the pitch.
