London rivals West Ham United have emerged as shock contenders to rescue forgotten Tottenham Hotspur forward Manor Solomon from his north London nightmare. With the 27-year-old winger widely expected to depart Spurs before the summer transfer window slams shut, negotiations regarding his permanent exit are set to accelerate rapidly over the coming days.
The Irons are actively hunting for reinforcements out wide following the departure of Crysencio Summerville, and the versatile Israel international has surfaced as a prime target. Under the watchful eye of Roberto De Zerbi, the versatile winger has featured heavily in Tottenham’s pre-season preparations, starting friendlies against MK Dons, Auckland FC, Sydney FC, and Chelsea. In fact, only midfielder Archie Gray has clocked more minutes than the Israeli forward during pre-season action.
Super agent Pini Zahavi is currently steering discussions to find the 27-year-old a permanent new home before the new domestic campaign kicks off. With a proven track record in English football and the ability to operate seamlessly on either flank, a return to the Premier League with West Ham represents an extremely attractive and viable option for the player.
