Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has delivered an honest assessment of his squad following another encouraging pre-season victory, admitting that while some players are naturally frustrated with their current situations, no member of his squad has formally asked to leave Elland Road.

The Whites continued their impressive preparations for the new Premier League season with a convincing 2-0 victory over Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, further strengthening optimism around the club after an ambitious summer of recruitment.

Leeds have already enjoyed one of their busiest transfer windows in recent years. Harry Wilson arrived on a free transfer before the club invested heavily to secure defender Tarik Muharemovic in a deal worth around £34 million. They then smashed their transfer record once again by completing the £45 million signing of England goalkeeper James Trafford from Manchester City, with the highly rated shot-stopper expected to become Daniel Farke’s undisputed first-choice goalkeeper this season.

Those major arrivals have underlined Leeds’ determination to establish themselves back in the Premier League. However, attention is now gradually shifting toward the players who could leave before the transfer deadline.

Despite ongoing speculation surrounding several members of his squad, Farke insists no player has approached him requesting a transfer.

Speaking after the victory over RB Leipzig, the Leeds boss revealed that he remains pleased with the attitude inside the dressing room and believes the overall mood among his players remains positive.

He pointed to the fact that teenagers were trusted against Champions League-calibre opponents, describing it as another positive sign for the future of Leeds United.

However, Farke admitted the club cannot rely solely on young talent across a demanding Premier League campaign.

While he remains delighted with the options already available, he hinted that Leeds could still strengthen further before the transfer window closes, particularly to improve depth across key positions.

Although Farke downplayed the likelihood of a major clear-out, several departures still appear increasingly likely behind the scenes.

Goalkeeper Lucas Perri continues to edge closer to a move to Italian side Torino after slipping down the pecking order following Trafford’s arrival.

Defender Sebastiaan Bornauw is another player Leeds could consider selling should an acceptable offer arrive before the deadline.

Meanwhile, winger Largie Ramazani remains one of the strongest candidates to leave the club. Interest from Spanish side Valencia has persisted throughout the summer, although negotiations have reportedly slowed while the La Liga club waits to see whether Leeds soften their valuation.
