”It’s been a frustrating one to not have Jaden around it, but he’s looked up to speed this week. He’s been very, very impressive in training. Fitness-wise, he’s in a good spot. If we decided to start him tomorrow, it would be no problem,” O’Neil added. While a full 90-minute shift might stretch his current conditioning, the medical staff has fully cleared him to feature, injecting a massive dose of explosive pace and extra competition back into Ipswich’s attacking unit.
As for Matusiwa, O’Neil noted that the midfielder will require a slightly more measured buildup before returning to the starting XI, though he is primed and ready to return to matchday squads to offer valuable minutes from the bench.
