MEDICAL COMPLETED-ANOTHER MAJOR DONE DEAL: Everton SHOCKS the football world with ANOTHER MAJOR signing just hours after secret medical! Get the exclusive details from Sky Sports now!

Everton has shown interest in Lyon winger Ernest Nuamah, with the potential for a double signing on the horizon, as reported by Sky Sports.

According to Alan Myers from Sky Sports’ Transfer Centre, the Toffees are keen on the 20-year-old and could make a move for him before the transfer window closes. Alongside their pursuit of Nuamah, Everton is also in talks to bring in Orel Mangala from Lyon, with the player reportedly undergoing a medical ahead of a loan move to Goodison Park.

John Textor, the prospective new owner of Everton, is said to be involved in finalizing the deal for Mangala, although it is unclear if the same will apply to Nuamah.

If a deal for Nuamah goes through, it could give Everton added firepower in attack. Despite only recently joining Lyon, Nuamah has a history of moving between clubs owned by Textor, making a loan move from RWD Molenbeek to Lyon under Textor’s control.

Although Lyon have triggered a £21 million option-to-buy clause for Nuamah, it is uncertain if Everton would need to pay a similar amount for a permanent transfer. However, if Textor completes his takeover of Everton by January, any potential deal for Nuamah could be easier to finalize.

With Everton’s current struggle to score goals in the Premier League, adding another attacking talent like Nuamah could be crucial for manager Sean Dyche. Despite the ongoing off-field issues surrounding the club, securing new signings could provide a much-needed boost on the pitch.
