CONFIRMED: Leeds United favourites to sign Talented forward as verbal agreement development emerges

It appears that Hull City’s attempts to secure the signing of Burnley winger Manuel Benson on loan are facing obstacles, with Leeds United emerging as the frontrunners for his signature. City had reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Burnley to bring Benson on board until the end of the season, but it seems that deal has fallen through as Benson considers his options and attracts interest from other Championship clubs, including Leeds.

Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri first mentioned Leeds’ interest in Benson earlier this month, indicating that the club was eyeing him as a potential replacement for Wilfried Gnonto, who was expected to join West Ham United. Although Gnonto now seems likely to stay at Leeds, the club is still pursuing Benson, who has been made available for transfer by Burnley.

Adding a player of Benson’s caliber to Daniel Farke’s squad would be a significant boost as they aim to secure promotion back to the Premier League. Although Benson has seen limited game time since Burnley’s return to the top flight, he showcased his abilities in the Championship last season with 13 goals and three assists, proving that he can make a significant impact at that level.

With Hull City intensifying their pursuit, it is clear that Benson is eager to get back on the field and prove himself. Joining a club in contention for promotion to the Premier League would provide him with the perfect platform to showcase his talents and contribute to their push for success.
