Zian Flemming etched his name into Ipswich Town folklore with a dramatic 90th-minute winner, snatching a thrilling 3-2 victory against a resilient 10-man Crystal Palace side in a Premier League classic at Selhurst Park.
The victory marks Ipswich’s second win of the Premier League campaign and their first away triumph in the top flight since April 2025, handing Nuno Espirito Santo’s men a massive boost while condemning the Eagles to their third defeat in four league matches.
How the Action Unfolded
Palace started on the front foot and broke the deadlock after 14 minutes when Daichi Khalaili turned in an opener with the aid of a deflection off Leif Davis. However, Ipswich responded against the run of play in the 23rd minute when Davis whipped in a cross for Emersonn, who nodded home unmarked to level the scores.
The match shifted dramatically in the 34th minute when Crystal Palace defender Axel Disasi was shown a straight red card for a dangerous, studs-up challenge on Jack Clarke.
