Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning to make a move for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi in the upcoming January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. Ndidi was previously considered one of the top number sixes in the Premier League, but his performance has declined in recent years, along with other Leicester players. However, the Nigerian has regained his form and has been a dominant force in the Championship this season, playing alongside former Spurs midfielder Harry Winks. With Ndidi’s contract at Leicester expiring next summer, several clubs are eyeing a move for him in January. Along with Tottenham, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Brentford, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Lyon, and Monaco are also rumored to be interested in signing the midfielder. Despite Leicester’s efforts to secure a new contract for Ndidi, there has been no progress in negotiations so far, and Enzo Maresca is reportedly determined to keep hold of the 26-year-old.
