TRANSFER SHOCKING REVELATION: Record-breaking £35M Premier League midfielder spills the beans on top-secret Eddie Howe discussions after sealing MASSIVE Newcastle United deal!

Elliot Anderson has openly acknowledged his desire to remain at Newcastle United this summer, but understands and accepts the club’s decision to sell him. The Magpies were under pressure to raise funds in order to comply with Premier League Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR), leading to Anderson’s transfer to Nottingham Forest and Yankuba Minteh’s move to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Together, the duo fetched a total of £68 million, with United also acquiring Greek goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos as part of the Anderson deal. While manager Eddie Howe was reluctant to part ways with both players, the sales allowed him to retain key players like Alexander Isak, Bruno Guimaraes, and Anthony Gordon.

Anderson expressed mixed emotions about leaving his childhood club, where he had been a part of since he was eight years old. However, he is now embracing the new challenges and responsibilities under Reds manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

Reflecting on his move, Anderson shared, “It was a tough decision to leave the club where I grew up, but ultimately it was for the best. I’m excited for the opportunities that lie ahead for me with Nottingham Forest. It feels like a win-win situation for both parties.”

Since joining Forest for a reported fee of £35 million, Anderson has started in three out of four matches and even faced his former club in the Carabao Cup. His performances earned him a call-up to the England under-21 team, where he featured in a match against Northern Ireland and is set to play against Austria.

The versatile 21-year-old player, who previously represented both England and Scotland at youth levels, has now committed his international future to England. Anderson explained, “It was a tough decision between Scotland and England, but ultimately, I see myself representing England. It’s all about how you feel when you put on the jersey, and that is what led me to make this decision.”
