Charlton Athletic manager Nathan Jones cut a frustrated figure after his side’s 2-1 defeat to Ipswich Town at The Valley — a result that extended their winless run and deepened concerns over their form.

Beyond the penalty incident, Jones also pointed to a disrupted rhythm caused by injuries during the match.

However, he also stressed that injuries alone cannot explain the recurring pattern of costly errors.
